We also match our clients with carers who may have similar interests and hobbies. When sourcing a live-in carer, we will send you a number of personal profiles that fit most closely with your needs, ready for you to approve before a live-in placement starts. All live-in care staff at Harrington Homecare are employed through us. Each carer is required to complete an enhanced DBS check and undergo specific communication skills training to give you complete peace of mind. It also includes helpful information about how to most effectively support and involve the person in the decision-making process. In the instance a person lacks capacity to express choices, we ensure families and other loved ones who are interested in their welfare have been consulted.
All other essential information is available in our care plans to ensure effective continuity of care and for use in emergencies.
